December 2008 Channeled Message.
A Channeling from the Akashic Records for December 2008.
What energies and experiences can we expect during the month of December 2008?
Clarity. December 2008 is like a big white light. For those of you who practice meditation, December 2008 is like the clarity that comes after sitting in silence for a long period of time. When you still your mind for a long enough time, even by accident when you daydream, you come to a moment of stillness. It happens occasionally for everyone. The energy of December 2008 is like that stillness; it is the pause between breaths, and it can provide the flash insight that occurs after surrender, after you give up the fight for whatever it is you may have been fighting for. December 2008 contains this energy.
That is not to say you are going to feel that kind of blissful clarity the entire month. This energy that is set for the month is what is available for you to access more often than you would at other times. December 2008 can be used like a blank slate — a time to reset the intentions, the motivations, and the patterns in your life. December 2008 is a time to disregard the things that have stood in your way before. You have done so much work to understand them, heal them and release them, that now in December 2008 you can simply Read the rest of this entry » Oct

Let the Journey be the Destination. By Guy Finley. A Great Truth about Setting Yourself Free - It is in our wanting “more” than the moment gives us to be that we not only sow the seeds of our own discontent but, for this same self-inflicted darkness, find ourselves blinded to a great truth that can help set us free: everything we need to succeed at being all that the Divine would have us be is already a presence in our soul. Letting Go into the Flow of Real Life - Occasionally, for all of us, we accidentally enter into the Now. We could be skiing, skating, doing yoga, playing golf, and suddenly we are in something that our activity aligns us with… we are in the flow of that moment. We can even be in the flow of a conversation, and in that moment we are aware of something sustaining us. Physically we enter into the Now because that flow is part of the Now. Emotionally we can enter accidentally into the Now when we look out and see the sun breaking through the clouds or we catch the evening light as it shades trees differently. Intellectually, from time to time, we enter into the Now when we have an insight and an epiphany comes. We’re walking along, and suddenly we have the feeling of understanding that came to us because at that moment everything integrated. Read the rest of this entry » Apr

Throwing off the Control of the Ego.
At some stage in our journey to enlightenment, before we can receive enlightenment* we usually need to undergo a major initiation in which our lower-self personality, passes from being under the control of our ego (the mind-made identity we believe ourselves to be ) and willingly comes under the guidance and leadership of Spirit. This initiation is composed of a series of difficult and painful events which are best described by using the metaphor of Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection. It is, quite simply, a test of our spiritual Mastery, and it only presents itself when we are ready. When we have emerged from this cycle of events our lower-self personality has been purified of the lower instincts, impulses, desires and emotions, which until this point in our life, have ruled and driven our actions and behaviour. Once we are free of the misleading influence of our mind-created ego, we are transformed, re-born, as it were, into a freer, more conscious, joyful, creative and powerful version of our former self. We understand our part in the Divine Plan and are in full possession of the skills, abilities and strengths we need to carry it out successfully. So, the series of events that make up our personal Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection, are challenges, trials and tests which provide our personality with perfect opportunities to become free of our baser, lower aspects and weaknesses. At the same time, these events also enable us to conquer and master our insistence on asserting our individual will. Instead of following our own personal will, we learn the wisdom of choosing to submit consciously to the Higher, Divine Will and so allowing ourselves to come under the leadership and guidance of Spirit, rather than the dominance and control of the ego. |
