Let the Journey be the Destination. By Guy Finley.
A Great Truth about Setting Yourself Free - It is in our wanting “more” than the moment gives us to be that we not only sow the seeds of our own discontent but, for this same self-inflicted darkness, find ourselves blinded to a great truth that can help set us free: everything we need to succeed at being all that the Divine would have us be is already a presence in our soul.
Letting Go into the Flow of Real Life - Occasionally, for all of us, we accidentally enter into the Now. We could be skiing, skating, doing yoga, playing golf, and suddenly we are in something that our activity aligns us with… we are in the flow of that moment. We can even be in the flow of a conversation, and in that moment we are aware of something sustaining us. Physically we enter into the Now because that flow is part of the Now. Emotionally we can enter accidentally into the Now when we look out and see the sun breaking through the clouds or we catch the evening light as it shades trees differently. Intellectually, from time to time, we enter into the Now when we have an insight and an epiphany comes. We’re walking along, and suddenly we have the feeling of understanding that came to us because at that moment everything integrated. Read the rest of this entry »
Freeing Ourselves From The Underdog Position.
Ascension energies continue to provoke power struggles in our relationships as many of us are waking up to the fact that we have been dominated, controlled or manipulated, often in quite subtle ways, by people who don’t always have our best interests at heart. These waves of Ascension energy produce within us a powerful desire to experience equality, justice and freedom in all areas of our life. Basically, on a soul level, we are yearning to experience democracy in all aspects of life and in all our relationships, from the personal to the professional, to the national and the international. What this means, is that we are becoming unwilling and unable to tolerate an unequal balance of power in our relationships. In particular, we no longer want to be the ”underdog.”
Some of us are just now waking up to the fact that we have been been controlled or manipulated, we are seeing imbalances and inequities that previously we have been oblivious to, or perhaps that we just accepted as being “the way things are.” Whatever the case, many of us are now struggling to free ourselves from the “underdog” position. This isn’t easy, because once one of the participants in an unequal relationship refuses to continue to submit passively to another’s control, a power struggle ensues, and this can be very painful, even traumatic.
These power struggles are very necessary, however, they are reflecting the challenge of the old Masculine, or Patriarchal, version of power, by the new Sacred Feminine, or ”Goddess ” version of power. The old version of power is based on subjugation, supremacy, domination and control, while the new version is completely democratic in nature. Put simply, the old power heirarchy is in the process of being ousted by our growing insistence that all relationships operate fairly, with both, or all participants in the relationship, sharing equal power and status.
What is making underdogs even more determined to break free from those who seek to control, limit and dominate them, is the Sacred Feminine energy’s insistence on personal autonomy and individual freedom. So, if you have been, or are now, involved in an unpleasant power struggle with someone, or more than one person, know that it is your soul that is urging you to free yourself from any kind of domination, control, and/or restriction. For, as we free ourselves from all forms of unjust control and oppression, we are playing our part in creating a better, fairer future for the world, not just ourselves.
Our bodies will heal more quickly and effectively of their illnesses and ailments once it’s understood that it’s actually our soul -our mind, or psyche- that’s in need of healing.
For too long, the medical profession has been diagnosing our physical problems by examining our symptoms and then trying to treat those symptoms. Not enough attention has been given to the causes of our disorders, or the connection between our physical health, our emotions and our mind, although there is a growing recognition that some illnesses are emotional or psychological in origin. *
In the future, in the “brave new world” we can bring about if we wish to, a more enlightened understanding towards our bodies and our physical health will prevail. Our body’s symptoms and dysfunctions will be perceived as our soul’s, or psyche’s, desperate attempts to communicate its’ pain and dis-ease to our conscious awareness. (It’s important to understand that in the case of the body we are talking about our unconscious mind: the sleeping, trapped, feminine aspect of our soul, or psyche.)
Our Soul Issues and Disorders.
Our physical health issues and disorders, are, in fact, our soul issues and disorders. When we understand this, and look to the pain and conflict that exists inside us, on a soul level, and work to correct and heal those ailments, our bodies will reflect the new level of soul ease and comfort. First, however, we need to know how our mind/soul uses our bodies to express its’ pain and discomfort.
I came across this quote by Carl G. Jung, from “Alchemical Studies,” the other day, and it’s so very, very true, so I thought I would share it with you. First, however, a little story about moi, and moi’s own folly and delusion (or innocence, if you want to be kind.)
Years ago, when I first embarked on a path of spiritual development, I believed I could use the knowledge I was gaining to avoid all of life’s ”bad stuff.” I’d discovered “The Seth Material,” by Jane Roberts, you see, and believed I’d discovered the secret to how the universe worked.
All I needed to do, I thought, was study how I was creating my reality and I would never have to worry again about mundane things like struggling to find the money to pay the bills, I would be prosperous, universally loved, completely fulfilled, ecstatically happy - not to mention an enlightened being! I would, or so I imagined, float inches above the ground in my own ascended space and instruct lesser mortals on how to do the same . . .
