 As We Awaken . . .

As we awaken spiritually we become more conscious and aware.  We begin to see and understand more about what is going on around us. We become more consciously “present” in the present.

As we continue to awaken we  begin the process of unifying our self, our consciousness,  with the ”rest” of the world.  We  start to heal the illusion of separation that exists between our self and the world, the world  we have believed - falsely -  to be separate, distinct and apart from us.

Until we begin to awaken,  we are unconscious most of the time, living life inside  our “head.” For the most part, we  are lost and absorbed  in a private world of our own, our  thoughts often centering  on the past or the future.   At this stage, we are often completely unaware that everything that exists is connected. Or that everyone in the world is another “me.”

Everyone is Another Me.

Everyone is another ”me” or “you.” Everyone is an aspect of yourself that you refuse to recognize and accept as being part of you. The truth is, everyone is a version of “you” that you are unconscious of, or “ blind” to. It doesn’t matter whether they are male or female, they are still you. This means that everyone is teaching you about yourself and who you are.

Once you accept that everyone else is mirroring an aspect of yourself back to you you can claim and own  another rejected part of yourself. This brings you closer to wholeness  and completion and paves the way for Unity Consciousness because you will have dropped the barriers and fences you  have unconsciously  erected around yourself in order to distinguish yourself from all “others.” These “barriers and fences” are ideas and beliefs (delusions and illusions) which maintain the illusion of your separateness and uniqueness, keeping it in place.

The Illusion of Separateness.

The idea that we are a separate individual self is an illusion. It is spiritually immature to attempt to hang on to the notion that we possess “special differences”  that mark us out as individuals once we realize that these “special differences” exist only as fantasies  and  beliefs  in our own mind. We are all One Self, and therefore share everything, but  we do, each and every one of us, express different, unique,  aspects of this One Self. We are all parts of the One Self: the Whole.

With these new ideas in mind, see what rejected, shunned aspects of yourself you can now claim back. Have Fun!
