The latest wave of New Energy has reminded me that over the last year there has been a second wave of Starseeds waking up, as well as a  fresh wave of emerging Light-workers. Since  it can take a while for a Starseed to fully awaken and realize who and what they are, I’ve been guided to devote more space on my blog to writing about my spiritual journey and experiences, which may be of service  in some way. Sometimes, I have found that people can have important spiritual experiences or  events happen to them  and yet not be completely aware of their full significance, or even that something significant has occurred!

I was reminded of this the other day when I was having lunch with L-  a friend of mine  who was a longtime member of my spiritual workshops, which I closed down  in February 2007. I was aware that L- was undergoing an important  spiritual awakening in which the ruler-ship and control of the ego over her lower three “bodies” (  the physical body, emotional aura or “body, “and the lower mental aura,  or “body”) was  coming to an end,  and her Spirit-Self (Higher-Self), which resides on the fifth, causal plane, would assume control. This means that Spirit can guide us, help us and intervene in our life much more easily.  It also means we become a more perfect instrument for Spirit to work through, so obviously, it’s a very  important stage in our spiritual journey.

I wrote about this in the article, “Initiation: Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection,” a few weeks ago, and it’s something that happens when we are ready to surrender our ego - our  personal ambition and will -  in order to be a more perfect instrument in order to implement the Higher,  or Divine Will,  for humanity. Anyway, it transpired that L- had recently had what I call a ”Mirroring Episode,”  but had not realized this, or recognized the full significance of such an event.

A Mirroring Episode signals that an important spiritual transition has occurred and Spirit is now ”driving,” that person, as it were, instead of the ego.  A Mirroring Episode can be understood as an event orchestrated by Spirit which mirrors an earlier event in which the individual concerned acted or responded to a situation in an  ego-dominated way.  After a period of time,  the individual is presented with the same kind of challenge, or situation, but responds  in a completely different way: in a spirit-infused way, because during the interval between the mirroring episodes, a merging between the personality and the Higher Self occurred. 

So,  I thought I should write about these kind of happenings, just in case some of you have similar kinds of experiences but aren’t quite sure what they signify, or even whether they are significant or not! In Part 2 of this article, I’ll describe the  events of this  particular Mirroring Episode in detail, because it’s a very good example of how Spirit works through us, and will orchestrate events in order to teach us, guide us and evolve us, if we are willing for this kind of guidance to  take place.
