I love this quote because I have found it to be so accurate: Spirit does indeed set up various situations and dramas which challenge and stretch us to become more than we believe ourselves to be. In other words, situations which force us, or require us, to expand beyond the limits of who we believe ourselves to be. Before we are “dragged” into these situations by fate, ( or Spirit, or our Soul) however, we usually receive an invitation, a call, if you like, to step willingly outside of our comfort zone, into the new arena/environment. This call heralds the fact that Spirit intends to provide us with the opportunity to bring about a further psychological transformation, or expansion of identity, within us.
I have always found Sanaya Roman’s work with Orin very beneficial, and at one time, I relied quite heavily on their tapes and books for my spiritual progress. You have already been introduced to the idea - more than once if you are a regular visitor to this site! - that everything that you believe is “out there” in the world, is actually a manifestation of your psyche: your own inner world, or inner landscape. Yet, you need to see and experience this truth for yourself: that your outer and inner worlds are inextricably linked. The overall aim of this Category, therefore, is to assist you to see in a new way, so that you become more spiritually awakened and aware.
Unfortunately, until we attain Unity Consciousness (Enlightenment) we suffer under the illusion that we are a separate being, separate and apart from everyone and everything else in existence. It all seems a bit of a tangle, but I assure you, you can and will awaken from the dream of separation if you want to. Think of it this way: at present you are probably, mostly, seeing everything through a pair of dark glasses that have obscured your vision, but, you are starting to remove them.
“The World: Our Mirror ” category is intended to improve your life in very real, concrete ways. In order to make changes on the “outside” however, we need to make changes on the inside: in our inner world of beliefs, imaginings, ideas, thoughts, feelings and attitudes. Trying to bring about any kind of change in our (so-called) external life only works, however, if we project the appropriate energy (think of it as gathering together the right ingredients to make the perfect cake ) onto the film screen that surrounds us which we call physical reality. In other words, think of yourself as being the projector of the holographic film - the reality- that you want to watch, participate in, and experience.
So, just to repeat - because it can’t be repeated enough, in my view - what is doing the projecting is you: the inner you that consists of your beliefs, imaginings, thoughts, etc, etc. So if you are going to learn how to master the physical plane, you need to understand that what you see in the outside world is the result or effect of what is happening within your psyche. The “outer” is always the result of the “inner,” remember.
The latest wave of New Energy has reminded me that over the last year there has been a second wave of Starseeds waking up, as well as a fresh wave of emerging Light-workers. Since it can take a while for a Starseed to fully awaken and realize who and what they are, I’ve been guided to devote more space on my blog to writing about my spiritual journey and experiences, which may be of service in some way. Sometimes, I have found that people can have important spiritual experiences or events happen to them and yet not be completely aware of their full significance, or even that something significant has occurred!
I was reminded of this the other day when I was having lunch with L- a friend of mine who was a longtime member of my spiritual workshops, which I closed down in February 2007. I was aware that L- was undergoing an important spiritual awakening in which the ruler-ship and control of the ego over her lower three “bodies” ( the physical body, emotional aura or “body, “and the lower mental aura, or “body”) was coming to an end, and her Spirit-Self (Higher-Self), which resides on the fifth, causal plane, would assume control. This means that Spirit can guide us, help us and intervene in our life much more easily. It also means we become a more perfect instrument for Spirit to work through, so obviously, it’s a very important stage in our spiritual journey.

I confess I have been rather focused on fun and having long, pub lunches with my friends over the past few days instead of thinking about your spiritual progress! It’s just that the weather has been so nice and I love food and chilled white wine. Oops! Have I completely shattered your illusions about how I enjoy my leisure time?

a) Assisting you to break free from the illusion of separation, a basic belief of third dimensional consciousness: that we are all separate individuals, existing as seperate entities and therefore apart, isolated and distinct from everyone and everything else in the universe.
And,
b) Learning that you have vast creative power and that you can design and create more enjoyable and nurturing relationships with other people, as well as create a life which allows you to experience more joy, ease and abundance, as opposed to experiencing a life of pain, lack and fear.

Whenever I’m about to begin a project of a spiritual nature, I usually see Flights of Angels with my third-eye vision. My favourite way to see angels, however, is to see them formed from clouds, especially when there are legions of them! The appearance of flights of angels in the clouds is very amusing, because obviously, they are visible to everyone else in the vicinity if they happen to lift their eyes to the sky.
The last time I saw a Flight of Cloud-Angels was towards the end of November last year. I had closed down my spiritual workshops (classes based on the teachings contained in A Course in Miracles) the previous February because I knew I needed to complete my spiritual journey alone. I also knew that the group I had been working with also needed to complete their journey alone. I was quite content about this because I understood that that part of my spiritual work and journey was over and that if there was anything else for me to do of a teaching nature, then an idea or an opportunity would present itself.
